Death of two legends
The passing of Erle Montaigue
Erle Montaigue passed away on Wednesday 26th January 2011 on a Day when Australia celebrates its Country and its Mates…
Australia Day 2011 will be an easy day to remember and a fitting Day for such a proud Aussie to continue his journey. Erle was a proud Aussie even though he chose to live in the UK (Wales). He loved both places with all his heart.
We can all claim him as our own whether we live in Australia the UK or any of the four corners of the Globe as he loved us all equally as a Great Father to the Martial Arts community.
I had only email conversations with Erle and he was helpful and courteous – he even sent me a free DVD to encourage and help me. Best wishes to all who knew him and fond thoughts from me.
Martial Taji and Joanna Zorya
Joanna Zorya passed away peacefully on Sunday 6th March 2011. Her memory lives on through this website, through her articles and videos, and in the hearts, minds, and movements of her students and her friends.
Joanna exchanged emails with me and a telephone conversation and was nothing but helpful and kind. My thoughts with all who knew her.
